Dress Code

• Creative Dance: Any design or color leotard, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes (child sizes 8-13 & girls sizes 1-2 available at BKDC)
• Pre-Ballet ages 5-7: Black BKDC leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes (available at BKDC)
• Ballet: Black BKDC leotard, pink tights (purchase at BKDC), for ballet shoes SoDanca pink ballet with no draw string (purchase at Dance Tampa)
• Jazz/Theatre, Acting with Jazz:Any color or design of dancewear including leotards, spandex, tight fitting camisoles are accepted. Tan slip-on jazz shoes any brand. Bloch Phantom Stretch Canvas in tan required for all team members (purchase at Dance Tampa).
• Lyrical/Contortion: Any color or design of dancewear including leotards, spandex, tight fitting camisoles are accepted. Capezio Hanami Pirouette in nude (purchase at Dance Tampa).
• Contemporary/Improvisation: Any color or design of dancewear including leotards, spandex, tight fitting camisoles are accepted. No shoes required.
• Kids Contortion & Tumbling, Acrobatics & Cheer Dance: Any color or design of dancewear including leotards, spandex, tight fitting camisoles are accepted. No shoes required for the acrobatics and tumbling, but for Cheer Dance some type of sneaker may be required at recital.
• Tap:Any color or design of dancewear including leotards, spandex, tight fitting camisoles are accepted. Bloch split sole black tap shoes (purchase at Dance Tampa).
• Hip Hop: Any color or design of dancewear including leotards, spandex, tight fitting camisoles are accepted. Sneakers of choice, dance sneakers, or jazz shoes. In January a decision is made for a style shoe for the recital. These shoes will be sized and ordered through the studio.
• Ballet/Jazz Combo: Black BKDC leotard, pink tights (purchase at BKDC), ballet shoes and tan slip-on jazz shoes (purchase at Dance Tampa).Aerial Yoga: Fitness or dance attire, no shoes
• Star Performance & High Energy Company Dance Teams: Bloch Phantom Stretch Canvas in tan required for all team members (purchase at Dance Tampa).

You can purchase the following items at the studio: Tap and Ballet shoes for Creative Dance and Pre-Ballet (Child sizes 8-13 and Girl sizes 1-2), black BKDC leotards (required for Pre-Ballet and Ballet), and pink tights (also required). Please bring a note paper stating Parent Name, Student Name, and classes to help with the selection of items.
